it's the little things that get you through the day-to-day routines. first of all - ICED COFFEE. if i had to come up with a list of things i can't live without that would definitely be on there (especially on work days!). i also changed up my hair a little bit the other day, adding some more blunt bangs and a darker brown color - to be honest, this was kind of a "mom" decision, but it's crazy what a little hair change can do! the bangs give the "disheveled top knot" look a little more "done"-ness and i appreciate that. i loved my red hair - LOVED, but it faded way too fast and when my roots came in, for some reason, it looked like grey or balding hair - not cute. so i went with a color closer to my natural hair color.
next up on the awesome things list - when your husband makes dinner. even better when it's one of your favorites! we like to go to this restaurant in town that has the most amazing steak and sides but it's pretty pricey. so last night jimmy whipped up everything i usually get and it was just as good! it's so nice to come home to dinner once in awhile. (even better when jameson sleeps through it and you get a little alone time with the chef, too!)
of course, in true cheeseball fashion, i've got to put the fam on the list. but more specifically, i love being able to spend a few minutes and just play with penny lane. i feel like she's been a little bit neglected compared to how much attention we used to give her - which, is inevitable - but still sad. so it's nice when we get moments here and there to love her. and, omg, if i don't love seeing those boys together. watching them is more entertaining than an episode of real housewives (and, believe me, that's saying something!)

Um, your hair
